If you run from the cops...they will chase you...you take that risk. Sometimes it pays off sometimes it doesnt. If you dont pull it off, that is the consiquence. You cant say that you want to sue them when running is against the law. Like it or not (and i am not saying i do) that is whatyou have to expect. Still glad your ok now. Also +1 to what roger said, they will bring back the charges and the judge would throw it out and then you are really fucked.

oh and for everyone else we have no chase policies here ,, to stop a bike by forcing it into a veicle is the same as to inflict and cause bodyly harm, they might as well shoot a unarmed man

my dad was rcmp for years, i am happy without charges and more tha happy to b e alive

 

all that is still better than death. i guess i must value my life a little more than most that stunt because nothing i do is worth death.

and is it considered chasing you if he was coming at you head first? he really wasn't "pursuing" you, he was merely blocking off your path. lawyers will find small things like that, especially if the case is weighted against the person as it is in this case.
