The new thing is to use schedule 80 pvc pipe cause it gives a little when you wreck and wont break your frame

 

haha +1 for pvc.. may cause damage to plastic, clip ons, rear sets, and motor. thats classic no but si fo sho

 

1/8 inch thick x 1 inch seemless pipe make sure you can get a 14mm socket in the inside,
get a good pipe bender and a good welder

 

I made mine myself, havnt had any problems. 1.25 od mild steel, 3/16 thick.

 

Nerf, best protection hands down. a nerf cage provides padding for when your bike impacts the ground, you'll never even crack a plastic with a nerf cage!!
