has anyone broke there wrist before?????how long did it take to heal up and how strong is it now?????????/this **** sucks soooo bad!!!

I rather break my wrist then tear a ligament in it. Broken wrist should take 4-6 weeks to heal. Sometimes less but it has to be immobilized.

A torn ligament on the other hand takes longer and in worse cases when the ligament is ruptured, it wont heal without surgery.

 

I broke my wrist last october and was back on the bike in february. but it still gives me problems sometimes and I dont have full movement anymore. and on long highway wheelies it locks up sometimes which sucks cuz its my throttle hand.

 

broke scalfoid bone last year, put the cast on did all the docter said .Had no problems with it untill I landed on it again ( just recently) now i need a screw .but if you dont let it heal right the bone will start to heal and if it dosent heal good it will shift now and then. and that is wear the constant pain is.

It isnt really pain it just aggervation cause you are not sure how much pressure you can put on before you are back to square one again!

I broke the same bone in my left wrist back in February... except I broke mine in half..... I had to the whole surgery thing with 2 screws, and it took almost 7 months before I was out of casts.... Got my last cast off about a month ago, and just jumped back on the bike this past weekend for a show....... and the bitch still is super stiff..... and hurts alot....

left wrist 5 times, right one 6 times. They give me trouble all the time but i can take. Breaking you feet is 10x worst

i waz tryin to boogie from the fuzz and some ******* cut out right in front of me,hit in the back (van),tried stoppin,hit it at like 30..........after skiddin and slowin down from like 60-70.........when i hit the impact just went to my right wrist mainly,they toke x-rays and supposedly said it waz fine but dude,i feel it everday,every mornin i wake up i gotta crack my wrist..........body don't lie.......only gets worse when we get older,def feel in cold too

 

broke my wrist (throttle hand) two years ago, dont have full movement but pretty close. If you go to therapy do it just like they say.

Everyday I move and bend mine some to keep it flexible and do some excercises with it to try to get it as strong as i can

 

dammm...thanks for the info yea right now i got a half cast on for three weeks.....i have a titanium plate and i think the doc said 6 or so screws in there.....

Oh great, I just got an xray done on my wrist and foot.

Waiting on results. Hurt (possibly broke) my wrist nearly two months ago. I have full up down motion/strength but have no twisting strength, so can use door *****, lol.

 

I hope you got a girl or that thats not your party wrist! other wise its gunna be a long 4-6 weeks bro
