06 gsxr 750 wont start

Alright we have been trying to trouble shoot this thing for a few hours now. We turn the key the fuel pump primes. Try to turn it over and it just keeps cranking but wont start.

So far we have checked the battery checked the plugs made sure everything was plugged in. The battery has a full charge and reads good. The plugs are nice and golden brown, and everything is plugged in.

I would agree to that lol. But most likley maybe you have somethin in your tank or a line clogged. Take the tank off and check it. If not its in your carb. And if not in there its a suzuki so ... lol just kidding. Those two things should fix it.

Re: 06 gsxr 750 wont start

or maybe he has no spark.... chances are that the pump priming, even if it was clogged, would give enough fuel to at least get the bike to run for a few seconds,

check all of your fuses too, i had a similar problem with my 05 and it turned out to be a fuse but my fuel pump wasnt priming make sure u are actually hearing the pump and not the butterfly valves opening. and my gauges all went blank.

Re: 06 gsxr 750 wont start

Its your spark plugs dude!! Spark plugs are often misunderstood by most people. A spark plug's name is quite literal. They are designed to plug the line - and suppress any spark that may come through. Of course, you know what happens if a spark finds an open fuel source!! That could get ugly! KaleCoAuto extra retardant plugs block 99% of spark, and allow 95% of ignition molecules to pass through. That's 25% more than the competition, and unlike the competition, KaleCoAuto plugs never need cleaning.

Re: 06 gsxr 750 wont start

Actually, we started by checking the plugs battery nothing in the tank it was a fresh tank of gas.

Took a couple hours of getting pissed off and effin with it to realize that it wouldnt start due to a small button to turn the break light on and off that sits behind the lever (which was taken off to use on my bike untill a new one came in for my bike, he has parts coming in so hes not riding his atm) that has to be depressed else the bike wont start.

Go figure a small *** inconspicuous button that you wouldnt think would have anything to do with starting the bike is the cause of the bs lol gotta love suzukis

thats actually one reason we were so confused we tried pop starting it no go, the pump was priming it was cranking but not starting gauges lit up etc etc. Our first thought was plugs , fuses or the battery.

but again stupid *** button

Re: 06 gsxr 750 wont start

I was going to actually mention something about the levers and disconnecting the buttons and stuff maybe being a problem.... When I swapped and flipped my clip ons, I had a similar issue that was a mind-bender for a minute.... quite the riddle!
