dude i usually like 4th on the highway. 3rd's not bad but 4th is super smooth at bp and i barely have to use any throttle to keep it right there. (55-60) 2nd cool if your starting a HC or spreader....i'm on a 99 900rr with +7.....600's take a little more practice but 3rd should be no problem and 4th with alot of pratice is possible....it's all about practice if you haven't heard it all ready

how are you positioned i find it easiest to put one foot on the passenger peg one foot covering the brake you will probably hafta preload the front too
