i come from a dirt bike background so it would make sense to go with the db bars as im use to them but whats the pros and cons besides the obvious? does turning feel any different?? stability when ur riding wheelies out??

I went with some Renthal Streetfighter bars

I ****** love em - they require extended brake lines as well

Umm not sure.. cant be too expensive.. Just make sure when you drill your tripple clamp (if u go with db bars) that the holes are alligned


Funny thing is.. You look at my tripple.. U see a extra hole.. and the fuckn mounts are still a little off..

A buddy of mine got some after market FI clipons he likes.. raises like 2 1/2 inchs from stock.. those are ez as ****..

But risers cant be too expensive. I nearly blew my arm out tonight.. tryed to hold onto the fuckn bike.. and it jus pulled my right arm nearly out of the socket.. ( there real wide bars ) ..

Get an 636 clip ons ..its one of the best ever...i ve been on DB bars for long time so finally i switched it ...love it and wouldnt go back to DB.

anyway you can check on ebay pro taper they sell it cheep for like 28.00 oversized clamps 1 1/8 or 7/8

or u can buy the whole set at haibikeshop for 180 with clamps , bars , brake lines and one more i forget.

 

i love db bars in the lot, but i do like clip ons better for hywy wheelies. i spend most of my time in the lot though so i use db bars.

 

well i thought there was an actualy triple clamp to throw on with db bars but i do have the adapters on my dirtbike so i have a set to throw on my gixxer...im gonna try the 636 clip ons first than if i dont like those go db bars thanks for all the insight guys... are there any other clip ons that rise a little bit ??

 

check out fullthrottleinc.com they have db/clip on hybrids there like tag db bars that where cut in half one half bolts to one fork like a clip on and the other side of the bar to the other fork.
