What we did was Put some ears on some pieces of steel. Drilled holes in it

Mounted it to where ur subframe mounts..

Than build the rest around the bike !!

Buy a 01 GSXR or 01 F4i..

and make it a parkin lot stunter.. then when ur uber enough.. u wont drop the gsxr !

Dont really wanna get rid of it but the subframe is killing me. I've went through 3 of em already. If I could make sure it didnt keep happening then I would.

Really.. you get a steel subframe liek I got.. THERE IS NO BREAKING IT


I built a 12 bar that was to long originaly.. hit it.. it catapulted the bike 4 feet in the air..

warped it.. THATS IT !. and i had to tighten the bolts lol

(PUT A APB out on a 05 in my town.. if I can borrow one.. i offered to pay the dude 50 bones..
If i can build one for u.. 200 dollars sound good? let me know if ur interested in a real subframe and I can do it.. 200 plus shipping.. steel is gonna cost about 80.. and its gonna take me abotu 2 hours to do it.. with the help of my pro welder friend)

 

The 05 is different from the 06 I think. I know the 06/07 is the newer shape. I could see if they're the same though.

just buy a scrapeworks sub frame.....what did you expect it's a gixxer

 

Yeah I messed up - I didnt do any research when I picked it up. Figured it was a Suzuki so it'd be all good. Scrapeworks doesnt make subframes for the 06 yet. Its all good now. I'm gonna put this back to stock and flip it when I set up the F4i.

 

Does anyone know if I can use the Renthal bars I have on my Gixxer on an F4i? Would I just have to buy new risers or could I use the ones on my bike now? Thanks.

DUDE.. I can build you a freakn subframe I jus need to get ahold of a 05 or 06

And I guarentee you cannot BREAK IT.. I will cover shipping half way back if something broke !

Only thing u can POSSIBLY do is break the ears off the Steel tubes (that mount to your frame)
or bend it.. but that would take like a 8x loop

I can even make a 12 bar into it !! or use whatever bar u already have

Consider your options before u give up on the gsxr.. !!

Good thing about f4i's tho. is they already come with Tube style reinforced subframes. unlike the aluminum round bar gay frames they put on our gsxr's..

but thats weight reduction and who would race a f4i that was serious??

onewheelneal I personally think thats the sickest looking fully moded bike i've ever seen if I had the money and the skills to ride such a bike. I would buy it from you in and instant.

 

Didnt see this post - I didnt put the bars on but the stock tripple was replaced with the LSL Kit from what I remember and the risers are bolted onto the LSL Kit. So I should be able to put that same bar onto the F4i and just mount the risers somehow, right?

I think I'm over the Gixxer. Over the past 2 weeks I've dropped my bike a bunch of times and replaced both sides of the sub and I'm still worried about the frame being that I mousetrap like crazy. If I wind up keeping it which i dont think I will I'll hit you up though. Thanks for the offer though. I still gotta get my dough back for the one I ordered since its over a month and hasnt been done yet.
