the next level...
Re: the next level...
in a way, i bet hes just letting the rest of us know what could possibly be out there......if we put our effort in, and peeps would just stop ****** hatin...what he has accomplished as a rider as well as a business just didnt fall into his lap....HE EARNED IT.....by putting in work.
not hating on others accomplishments on a stupid internet board..
WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!
he is doing good, and good things for the sport as a whole....thomas comes on and says the things hes doing, and planning etc...yet noone bashes him.....why????
cuz you're all ****** haters...
not saying that thomas cant ride, i know he can and very well, but most of you dont know that.....you think hes just a "behind the scenes type person"....so he doesnt threaten your manhood as much...
kane would **** on half of other peeps skills.....and that makes you jealous...its sad that life has to be a big dick measuring contest to most.
put in kanes hard work and ambition, see where you get.....most likely just as far as he has.....but everyone just thinks all good fortune just falls from the sky i guess
...

i see it backfiring quite a bit, it's always going to be illegal, now just with more squids causing accidents trying to be a big time stunter in 1 month....which increases the anger level of hte community and police to crack down.

exactly what i think. but either way you will still have kids that go buy bikes and try to pow pow right out of the stealership. if its a mainstream sport squids will be everywere. i hope im wrong about this .

like dude said, its a double edged sword. theres an equal amount of pros and cons for the sport going mainstream. i am still undecided about which direction i want the sport to go. i have no clue.
Re: the next level...
If anyone wants my
on if the sport will ever go mainstream ...PRO MX is not something you learn on the street neither is PRO SFX or PRO skateboarding but PRO stunting!! for 90% of the people out there we did! and that being said it's going to take 90% more work to get it accepted in any mainstream events... not that it wont ever happen but you put 60,972 stunt riders on a message board and all 90% of them can do is drag each other down!

Re: the next level...
not in cali they don't. jeremy mcgrath can't even ride his MX bikes on his private property in cali now because of local laws...they won't allow a superstar of a sport ride on his own property, but they are going to allow it publicly?
and for skateparks, have fun finding those in the midwest....you might have them in cali but to find them here in the midwest is a joke. you might as well carry handcuffs with you when you go skateboarding. i think every single parking lot in terre haute has a "no skateboarding" sign. you know it's bad when you can go to wal-mart and buy a sign that is pre-made that says "no skateboarding"
soon it will be the same for us.

oh ya, i do remember seeing that one. that's a pretty big city though. you won't find anything like that in a smaller place throughout. terre haute definately doesn't support that junk. i'm not a skateboarder but i do rock the freestyle bike with the guys sometimes and we get chased off everywhere.
