Best way to learn BP....

sitting? or standing? I'm not talking 10mph BP, maybe like 30-40 mph. 2nd gear. Thanks.

Re: Best way to learn BP....

You answered your own question incorrectly. Just work on first gear. Read the wheelie "sticky" and itll get you back on the right track. Welcome anyways and get ready for the fire.

Re: Best way to learn BP....

I personally would say learn them in first with your idle around 3 - 3.5k. Try clutching it up from almost a dead stop. I learned staggered and then moved on to sit downs but do what you feel more comfortable with.

Re: Best way to learn BP....

If you don't know BP yet then you obviously don't know the brake.... hence you SHOULD NOT TRY TO LEARN W/ YOUR IDLE UP!!!!

Dead low idle in 1st... cause when you go past bp and panic you are not going to use the brake like you should.... you want as much engine brake as you got.

Just go out and be smooth on the throttle, pullin em up higher and higher each time from a dead stop (or slow roll), and when your revs don't climb, it's time to start learning the brake.
