Re: 636 whackness.....

every drop throws your throttle bodies out of synch. take your **** to a mech or buy a carb sync tool and synch those bitchs at the idle you run constantly... your idle will over power the brake the first time you clutch it up if you do a good job

Re: 636 whackness.....

Maybe you just have some bad gas... a little water mixed with gas will make it run like **** and eventually foul out your SP's

Re: 636 whackness.....

I would check all electricals before buying a new fuel pump... odds are against something like that going out erratically. If your fuel pump is bad... its bad. If something is bad sometimes... its a wire. Just ran through this whole shebang on Evans gixxer1k. **** would just shut off for no reason or warning... it was a wire.

yea it was. we were riding in alb the week before and his bike kept cutting out when he would really mash the gas for stoppies and the whole time me and lil dave thought it was just ernie adding some style and doing it on purpose. the poor guy couldn't even do any crazy combos.

how you been ryan that 636 still giving you problems???

Re: 636 whackness.....

Edub loves revlimter like I love chilli combo's so it wouldnt be a suprise if a valve got bent from non stop rev limiter action and constant overheating. Shoulda done a comp test while you had the spark plugs out.

ryan did you take the clutch switch off yet and notice how much better the damn thing runs? This has to be one of the funniest things on these damn gsxrs. I never thought it was true untill I took that damn thing off. If you get going around 6 grand in any gear but 6th and push that sucker in ( if you let it hang) it's like a engine brake.

As for this damn 636 if all else fails replace the TBs cause if your tps or cvrt bull. Is out of wack it will do that.
