I have a scotts damper for my '01 f4i. I have dirtbike bars and the scotts wont fit under the bars. So im looking to trade it for a rod type damper. Only thing is the mount cant mount to the fork tube since i have 954 forks. They say the scotts is the best you can buy so if someone wants to upgrade for nothing lemme know. Looking to do so asap.

 

Dude , all u gutta to do is add spacer ..there u go...thats what i did with my old bike on an f4i with 929/954 front end spacer with FI risers & scotts dampner looks so bootiful.

 

Hrmmmmm "the best you can buy". I guess if that were the case, u wouldnt be having trouble with it, LoL. Just do what Big R said and you'll be happy u listened to him and held onto the Scotts.....=-)

 

i got the FI risers but how the hell did i space it up with the angle of how it mounts to the tripple? Id rather keep my scotts, got any pics of the set-up???
