Think this would work well?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motor...spagenameZWDVW

I dont have a lot of room for a trailer so I thought this would hook up to the back of my truck and do the job. You think its secure enough?

I'm guessing it works well for him? Bike never fell off? What kind of cage does he have?

Re: Think this would work well?

i can't see ebay at work here. if it's a thing on the hitch of a truck then it'll work if you have a class III or better hitch.

i have rocked it on my suburban since 2002. i built mine myself out of steel and it's worked great. the only time i had a problem was this last summer when they had a channel cut out in the road that was 2 foot deep and 4 foot across, i hit that bioch at 40mph in my truck and it sent the bike through my back window.

make sure you use 4 tie downs to keep it nice and secured and you should be good.

I have one that carries 2 bikes. I've only used it for one but it works great. Check and see what your truck can handle for tongue weight with a class 3 hitch.

Re: Think this would work well?

Good looking out everyone. I'm gonna pick one up but just wanted some feedback first. Binder - that sucks it went through your window. I guess I should just watch out for bumps. Kinda hard to do on these lovely NYC streets.

Re: Think this would work well?

That sucks. You mess up the bike at all or just the window of the burban? F'in trenches, I tell ya. I'm sure it probably looked cool when you were up in the air dukes of hazard style. And yeah that pic is exactly what I was talkin about. Cant wait.

Re: Think this would work well?

works good, I double check and tighten all the bolts(like all 8, all 11/16") monthly/10 uses. maybe had 1 or 2 need a snudge of tightening. srap it down good!!! all 4 corners. a canon dancer works good too.
