i have a hydraulic clutch that gets in the way of my hb. also have db bars and i still can only get the tip of my finger on it. and that is when it is mounted under the clutch. how do you guys set yours under or over the clutch? or do you know a brake master that has a better setup to use?

Cut your clutch lever way down, one finger to clutch and one on the brake.
