I was at the local shopping center stunting in the vacant lot in the back, i was stunting for around 2-3 hours there with no problems, a cop drove by and it seemed like there were no problems... an hour after the cop drove by 2 cops pull up while i'm in a slow stand up.. as soon as i saw them i dropped it and parked my bike..

the first cop gets out and says "ohhhhhh thats going to cost you a lot of money.. doing that in front of two cops" i was like okay.. two dicks just going to bust my ***** for doing slow **** in a vacant parking lot.. the guy asked for my license registration and insurance.. started picking apart my bike telling me i tucked my plate so cops cant get my information.


the first cop was in his car writing me a ticket and i started talking to the other cop after he finished picking apart my bike.. telling him how hard it is to get a spot where i am not a nusience to any one and that everything i do is in a parking lot, i never exceed 5-10 mph, i told the cop that i try my hardest to use parking lots with little traffic that are as secluded as possible and he started being really cool...

he started telling me how its really not people like me that are the problem its the kids who drive by, think it looks cool come back to the parking lot and then they get a call about a kid splitting their head open and the owner of the lot gets sued and they get in trouble for not kicking me out..

the cop went over and talked to the other officer for like 2 mins then called me over and the guy writing the ticket said you see this.. i was writing you a ticket for disorderly conduct but because you were being respectful i'm going to throw this out and give you a verbal warning..

after that they started asking me about my bike and how long it took to learn how to learn and started telling me about a guy they work with that is getting into motorcycle stunting







i asked them if there was somewhere i could practice without causing any problems and they gave me a new spot!!!!!!!!!!! :YEAH:YEAH

they told me theres only 1 cop in a 16 square mile radius where the spot is and the guys who patrol it wont bother me down there


if you show the po po respect they can be cool!

And from the bottom part looked like you found one of the cops that are in that 1 percent that arent on a power trip. Its always nice to run into one of those kind once in a while. Guys like that make it worth stoping.

 

MAYBE some of them...but **** the rest..

 

like I said 1 percent are cool & 99% are the reason cops get shot and people run from them. I have ran into a couple good ones though. But over a hundred **** suckers.

 

they were dicks when they first rode up and told me they were writing me tickets for my license plate no turn signals and disorderly conduct.. after i talked to them they were really cool though

 

I live in a Small town and one of the 50 cops we have here has done that. He rolled up on us while I was doing a no throttle hand and I set it down and stopped. He got out of the car and came over and started saying that he was just glad that we werent on the streets and then sat and watched and talked to us for like an hour. but the rest of our cops are total douch bags and have their ticketbooks out and ready by the time we even see them. congrats on finding a decent officer of the law, there are a few out there.

 

they were obviously still doped up and high from a car stop earlier in the night, the drugs they found hadn't wore off yet.

i dont think it will happen.. they told me to goto the industrial zone right off the turnpike and 1 of the state cops that patrol that jurisdiction has already parked and watched me stunt.. i have him driving by in one of my vids too.. he was really cool about it

Yes we can.... And most of us always are. But the departments are no diff. then any other place of employment. For the most part, there are good guys, but there are the few who get along with nobody.

 

I read it all...good stuff... i try and handle it the same way...

lifetime : I've been treated fair by cops more than 85% of the time (this includes everything ...go karts..dirtbikes..cars in snowy parking lots.. Atvs...practicing roadracing in desolate (but public) areas..Gopeds...Shifter kart...and all regular speeding regular traffic violations.
I've always been respectful...

as for stuntin' in the past 3 months ... I'm 3 for 3 ... 1 state and 2 county...all of them were cool with it ....One of them was "called" on me ....when he saw me .and asked what i was doin...i was polite and told him.... he called a supervisor....told him what I was doing and he verified I was going slow (slow wheelies in a 2 year new HS Sweet parking lot ...3 miles from my house ) and HE told me to call the police station the next time I was gonna practice...so if they got another call....they would know it was me. .... (not that Im gonna do that ...cause i go there a few days a week) but it was extremely cool.

anyways ....I know it wont be like this everytime... (i've been using public property for shanannigans for 20+ years )

but IMO...politeness and respectfulness...pays off most of the time ....you dont even have to mean it...just be a good actor...
