So I finally got my stunt piece together, and whenever I try to clutch it up, it seems like it's bogging from the get go. **** is really frustrating the hell out of me, and my combo button is broke as well......



I'm rolling stock right now, high idle as well......


What the fck could be the problem?

 

stupid question.. how much oil is in it?

 

Sight glass hal;f full. Havent filled it to the top of the sight glass yet cause i'm not really ready to start wheeling the **** out of it, but just trying to get it there seems like pulling teeth......

 

spark plugs prolly i had the same problem.... let ur bike warm up and the put water on the headers and see if they all r firing if they all r hot then its not ur plugs...

 

Has fresh plugs in it. I mean, I dont see what could be the problem, btu when it's just sittin there on idle, it sounds like it's lopping.......hahahaha....dayum race car bike.....

did u use your stock idle adjust ? if that so then you might **** it up the wax on throttle bodies.

 

Yeah, it's got the stock idle adjust on it right now.

Think that could be the problem?

 

my buddy recently had the same problem.. we've narrowed it down to this..
Thad aka TheHate on here gave him some good input about voltage in battery's and you have to have the RIGHT battery for the bike etc etc..

If your battery is stock i woudlnt worry about it.. if u bought it and dont know what bat it is.. look at the part number etc..

second thing we thing could be thr problem is the cpu bouncing around under the seat..

Try ******* with both.. Make sure the battery you got is for the F4i !

and make sure ur cpu isnt loose.. thats all the input I got !

put the second idle cable on it, dont know if it will fix the prob, but mine ran like **** until I put the second idle cable in...leave your stock idle cable in the stock setting, use your 2nd cable to turn up the idle...

 

Goto the honda shop with ur battery.. make sure its the right one

then test it..

Then your gonna laugh your *** off over the fact its because the previous owner put a cheap battery in it !!

the battery should be a YTZ 10S thats factory, and ive got the same prob kinda, when im in circles and i need a little bit of gas it'll bog and ill eat it and look like a tard. im also greared BIG thinking it would help but na, and then i got some new plugs, and its pulled better, but bog was still there. so ive got no idea, ive even messed with the air intake and everything... natta

 

It Has Nothing To Do With Battery , Its The Adjust Cable Makes Your Motor Running Funny....it Happens 2 My Bike Two Weeks Ago And I Had To Buy New Complete Throttle Bodies So It Solves My Problem.

 

This usually fixes the bog.

Replace your Fuel Pressure Regulator, and your injectors. (throttlebody)

I just replaced the whole throttlebody because its cheaper to buy a used throttlebody on ebay then to replace all the parts separately. I got one for 50 bucks on ebay (the body, 4 injectors, fuel pressure reg, stock idle, fuel rail included)

When you install the new throttle body make sure the TB boots are nice and tight. I found that one of mine wasnt even clamped. After the install.....IT RAN LIKE A NEW BIKE.

When you say you messed with the air intake, did you do the kleen air mod that was posted up here a while back??
