i get back on my bike today after a month everything is fine and then the engine starts to bog bog and shuts off.....like i have no gas but my tank is full so i re start it ride a bit then bog some more till it almost wouldnt start no more so i called it a nite.....do u think im shorting a wire somewere or wat???

no your not shortin a wire, maybe your stater, my homies stater went bad on him on his 636 and changed it then worked good,, have you has your valves adjusted?

 

... maby thers something in the gashose? Try to clean up the gasfilter, check up the gas-pumps

 

12ing as in on the bar or doing slow wheelies.......and no i didnt do the kleen air yet

 

Can you hear your fuel pump kick in when you turn you key on?

 

i would say try something simple first like injector cleaner.

I had the same problem on my 03... turned out the fuel filter wasn't flowing properly.. threw a new one in and it was golden.

 

that's not the fuel pump.. that's the throttle bodies running their cycle

 

that sound is your servo motor adjusting your exhaust valves,does it smoke like a bitch? if so your cylinders might be full of oil... and your plugs are probably fouled up..... you need to do the air mod homie!!!!!! especially if your 12'n it....

 

make sure the battery is charged and if that doesn't fix it maybe you got some water in the gas and if changing the gas doesn't fix it maybe your pump is shitting the bed

also my boi added a switch thats directly connected to the battery soo my fan can be on when i want!!! did that maybe **** **** up???

 

when my battery lost it's charge..it would bog bad in the low rpm's.. but by then it didn't even have enough juice in it to start it.. flat dead.

 

i don't think the fan is doing it unless you forgot to turn it off and killed your battery

i got a 06 636 and it was bogging out just before i clutch it up from a dead stop... and it was because my battery was so dead from sitting in the garage..that it barely could hold a charge... i recharged the battery and did a clean air mod after ome told me how... and it does not bog at all... don't know which one fixed it... but i noticed you said you were of the bike for a month in a half... good luck ..i am sure the problem is minor and you will get it fixed

 

thx.....ya i didnt really run the bike for a while only once during the month n a half ill check that tomorow but i still dont understand why the bike would just shut off once its already up n runing???
