wheelie ticket

I need some advice. I'v been given a ticket for riding a wheelie. The cop gave me reckless driving, which in the fine state of MI is a misdemeanor. they put out a warrant for my arrest and i fell this is way over kill, One the officer did not see me do it nor did any officer or government related person. It was a group of jealous kids that called it in. I'v seen in movies and on the net where riders have gotten pulled over for riding wheelies and were given a operating a motorcycle on one wheel tickets. I don't no what the penalty is for that but im sure its not a misdemeanor. i denied doing a wheelie altogether. wich is good because i later found out who called it in and how the cops found out, there is simply no way they can say i did a wheelie. If this is the case then whenever i see a streetbike go flying 120mph past my house i can just call it in and say yea it was a blue bike with a guy in a black jacket and a red helmet, so it must of been this guy i know named x because thats what he rides and wears. If this were the case then there would be people getting arrested all the time for **** they never did. Also this is the seconded time this has happened and its also the same cop this time as it was last time. Im honestly ready to just file a harassment suit against this guy. The kid that called it in is trying to become an officer and he thinks that buy narking on everything he see's will get him in and the sad thing is it most likely will. The officer told me he could arrest me on the spot and take me to jail but the funny thing about this story is the other person i was riding with is the city managers son, which is basically the officers boss so he let me go and said there would be a warrant out for my arrest. aside from this my buddy (city managers son) was ridding his friends bike and lost the registration and proof of issuance the day prier when we went for a ride and he left his jacket pockets open, also he had no license with him so the officer arrested him and gave him three tickets one for no ops on person, one for no registration, and one for no issuance. so i hope this officer know because he is a ultra ego cop that doesn't no when anof is anof and decides to **** with people for uncalled for reasons that it might just have cost him to get demoted or possibly loose his job altogether. this cop is in his young 30's and takes everything he dose to the far limit when theres no reason for it. What happen to the past when a cops job was to serve and protect. If you get locked out of your car and call the police they say they don't do that anymore and you have to call a tow company. when my buddy's bike was stolen and we were 1000ft from the guys house that stole the bike and the bike was there at the house in his garage, it took the cops over a hour in a half to just call us back then anothere hour to come out and get the bike back. but if you do a wheelie then its the electric chair for you. This may sound over kill to alot of you but in the little town i live in everyone knows everyone and if your different and stand out a bit (drive nice/fast cars / bikes, have a motorcross track in your back yard ect) you get labled and blamed for everything.

Okay, I normally don't post on here. I just read the posts. I have to say, that was one of the hardest things I have ever tried to read. I still can't figure out what exactly you were trying to say. I know you are just venting and all, but work on the typing skills a little so people can understand you. And if yo are worried about the law that much, start hitting the lots and get off the streets.

Re: wheelie ticket

i have tried the lot thing and i was almost taken to jail for resiting and obstructing. in front of my buddy's house was a restaurant and it burned down. were it was is his front lawn and he owns the property the parking lot is his and it is also his driveway to his house. we were stunting there and a cop came in like swat and arrested us for no reason and then release us saying that it is illegal for us to do wheelies on a licensed motor vehical in a parking lot intended for public use, we explained it was a privet lot owned by us and he stated that we were now resisting, what we were resisting ii have no idea. then he got in his car and just drove off without giving us a ticket. They (local pd) have nothing better to do then screw with us, and it suck like no other. i used to race motorcross and was really good at it, iv raced at the amature nationals three times and just got tired of having othere people take me out so i started stunting. iv been stunting for 3 months on the first street bike iv ever owned or ridden and can already do bp 2nd gear wheelies, bp 1st gear wheelis, on tank spliters, high chairs, frog whellies, flamingos, and just the othere day i did a 75 foot long stoppie. so im progressing pretty fast, and i love to do it i the last thing i want is some ahole cop screwing it up because he's a jealous piece of ****.

believe me i wanted to kick this guys *** but my luck i would and then i would be sitting in jail for assault lol. it wasn't 100% stolen the guy bar owed it and decided to keep it. so after the guy had it for 6 month and believe me we called the cops many times trying to get it back but because the bike wasn't visible the cops said they couldn't do anything.

Re: wheelie ticket

So what your saying is you can get a ticket from hearsay but you cant get a bike back when you know where it is becuase its unseen? Sounds like the law is fucked to me. Not that I didnt know that .. just proof

Re: wheelie ticket

I would hire a lawyer to fight the ticket. It may cost more initially, but will end saving you cash in the long (your insurance premiums will through the roof).

Re: wheelie ticket

Damn dude, three things.

A) Fight the ticket man. Thats ******* bullshit. Ask for proof.
B)Learn how to use paragraphs and basic punctuation.
C)Don't blow your own horn so much. The bigger the bragger, the smaller the dagger.

Re: wheelie ticket

I agree fight the ticket. FTP 4 life. and not to be personal but how old are you because the police where I live gave me a hard time because im only 14.
like today i was riding down the trail with my friend and the cops stopped us. so we gave them our licenses and registration. then the guy was like how come your name doesnt match the name on the registration? I said because im only 14 and you have to be 18 to register a bike. Then they handed us our stuff and we went to leave but my battery had died so i neeeded to wait for my dad to come pick me up. but thats not the point while me and my friend were waiting a bunch of guys rode buy and they didnt ask them for anything they just looked at their sticker and let them go. this happend probably 10 times. my point is that cops profily on younger people and on people who stunt. because i wasnt even stunting but i have a 12 bar and the cop was questioning me about that. they just have nothing better to do but mess with people.

But my main point is fight the ticket and ask for video or picture proof because you cant go buy word of mouth or bitchy people that have no fun in life would rat out on everyone.:YEAH

Re: wheelie ticket

ya for real. i think the mods should put a max letter count on post. i really dont need your life story. i am guessing the cops dont like you because you probably talk to much, or you are just on coke and way too hyper.
