I'm an assistant store manager at a lil mom and pop's shop-style video rental store. I have a lot of customers asking for stunting videos (I park my bike out front and they always ask what it's all about). Basically, when you pitch an idea to the owner, they want to rent out one or two copies, to see how they go, and then they go from there...my question, anyone have any ideas of what video(s) would be a good idea? i was thinking The Stuntshine State cuz the cover catches the eye, but i was also thinking that there may be too much talking (and too much lingo) for people who dont ride/stunt to make sense of...any other ideas? or, anyone who wants to talk about setting up some kind of arrangement for a rental agreement etc?

 

Any SIU video or Streetfighterz or Apex or Fish video would be good

 

you think people would like the covers? people are dumb, and if it doesn't look spiffy, they walk right by it

 

Starboyz FTP vids are cool, Project of Dreams is another good one.

if its a mom and pop's shop u prolly know everyone that walks in soo U just let them know how sick SIU n SF's really is **** the cover and i doubt it will be getting rented enough to even cover cost hahahaha

 

thats a good point; and it'll rent enough...i've had dozens of people askin' when i'm gonna get a video in so they can see what stunting is. its gettin them to rent other videos after they see the first one that'll be the prob. though, most our customers renting ANYTHING thats new; example, we got a horror movie call 'We All Scream For Ice Cream' that was filmed for some film school in black and white...it checks out every friday night, so sad!

 

I hate to say that but judgment day 2,3,4 are working perfect for dumbasses that dont know **** about stunting...

 

The C And I Vids Are O.k

then they gotta sign up, and then they're gonna get ripped on alot and get all pissy...that would prob be a horrible mess

 

whatever you get, be careful and check the content first.....some vids got a lil nudity and alot of ***-shaking. Fine for most of us, but if someone gets a motorcycle vid from a mom and pop's vid rental store and their 8 yr. old son/daughter sees A Few Loose Screws 2 and all the T&A (I know a very traditional woman who walked out of Dan's release party disgusted by all the T&A)....they prolly won't be happy!
On the otherhand Josh Clem's video is really clean, but still VERY good. And the C&I vids are classic and relatively clean, they would all make good vids you wouldn't have to worry about mom and pops customer getting upset about.

 

C&I's aren't bad... and Rock the 40 oz. :YEAH
