Re: flat VS round bar

Get both . See which one YOU like better. I did and I found out I liked the round for learning to scrape, then the flat for learning idle.

Re: flat VS round bar

i used to have a round bar great for learning and more forgiving then a flat bar. now i rock a flat bar thats very short its about 1 1/2 inch'es past the sub frame short flat bars rule. everytime i ride a bike with a regular length bar round or flat i always hit them dippin into circles.

oh and how the **** are u crashin scrapin ?

Re: flat VS round bar

I'd stick with the round just to learn scrapes. Just touch and go. Get comfortable with that, then if you want to idle or do anything that requires being on the bar for any amount of time, I'd go flat and learn that piece. Just know that they are totally different.

Re: flat VS round bar

I think if your learning then a flat bar will be better. If your not straight then your gona crash but they are alot easyer to learn with. A round bar is ok for short taps till you get good. To drag a round bar you have to be able to control a coast back onto the bar and hold it there.

A round bar looks so much better, but stick with the flat bar till your pimpin that:YEAH

Re: flat VS round bar

I understand that the round bar is more forgiving, but I can´t understand that everyone says it´s easier to scrape than the flat?
I think a flat bar is really easy to scrape, anyway on scoot
