the 06 R6 is too cramped for stunting... but the 05.... ****, i bet you would fall in love with it.

well after the subframes modded... but that is the cleanest bike i have ridden in my life. the durrty 6 feels similar, but the power is flat. the R6 does feel a bit peakier, but very manageable.



hurry up and post some video's up of you rockin the durt mcgurt... i wanna see if your style differs on this bike.

what do you mean by the 03-04 has more clearance than 05? i rock an 05 because i hate the cramped feeling of the 03-04

i hate to break it to ya but the 06 zx10 frontend does NOT fit the stem on the lower is too short and the forks do not fit in the 03-04 or 05-06 triples. and the 05-06 lower triple barely fits u have to use only 1 spanner nut under the upper triple.......me and drastic dan tried and if u find a way please let me us kno

your saying with my complete 06 zx10r front end i cant make it fit my 03 636? then will my 05 636 front end fit in? i know ernie put a 05-06 front end in his 03.

my budy put a 04 zx10r front end in his 06 636 which was why i figured i could do something similar?

try tucking in and out on a 05-06, i can do it but its difficult with the 03-04 it is similar to the f4i....to me atleast

 

ah, well i don't stunt my 05, i just ride it. the only 03 636 i've stunted is streetfigther so that won't make a difference.

i could see doing a pull through being harder on the 05 because the front windscreen is bigger and more in the way. the 03-04 has a tiny upper.

i thought you mean cramped in the seating area when riding it. i hate the bar locations on teh 03-04, they lean too far forward and the rear of the bike is too high.

 

no the 06 zx10 front end does not fit dan ordered a complete front end and like i said before the stem is to short and the frks dont fit in the 636 lower triples any year the zx10 upper fits the 03-07 636 forks tho its just the way the forks were machined they are thicker at the lower triple.
yes u can se 05-07 forks in 03-04 triples without issues and u can also use the 05-07 lower triple if only use one of the spanner nuts that go under the upper tripe (there are normally 2)

according to my kawasaki 2004 product update book the zx6 is a 41mm (lower tube) and the zx10 is a 43mm

 

the frame between the upper nd lower triples is shorter on the zx10 then it is on the 05-07 636 and the 05-07 636 is shorter then the 03-04 636

but im sure the zx10 and the 05-07 are close enough to work just like the 05-07 lower triple barely works in the 03-04

also, 2 mm difference, you could hone that crap out or use a bore-bar and have them bored to 43mm to fit the forks.
