Angry Bike sounds BADDDD

After doing some 11-12o'clock wheelies last night, my 2002 gsxr 1000 sounds as if it has no oil in the motor on the top end, it's tapping so bad, it seems like maybe there"S a blockage or something. any ideas?

Re: Bike sounds BADDDD

Its a gsxr, thats just what happens. I had a 01 fixxer 750 and it was a piece of ****, if it wasnt a blown motor it was a clutch issue or the frame crackin and me chasin a welder around. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and sell that thing. If your serious about stuntin you gotta get a honda or a 636. They will hold together and ride better (for stunting). THers a thousand similar post s on this site so browse around a little and youll see what im talkin about. It sounds like your bike spun a bearing or broke somethin inside. If your gonna keep it and fix the problem, an oil pickup will extend the time on the motor before it blows. If your doin wheelies It will blow but you may get an extra 6 months out of it. Good luck

Re: Bike sounds BADDDD

street bike engine is a normal 4 stroke engine, u can replace the rod bearings and crank... its just a pain in the ***

see since your rod bearing warped and tried squeezing out between the rod and counter weight on the crank, your crank is now scored and will most likely need some machining done and you run a larger bearing...

its much easier and cheaper to buy a motor off ebay.
