haha, durty, your knowledge of history doesnt extend further than youtube. the fact is the turks controlled greece for nearly half a millenium!! and greece had some serious help from western european allies who, in the spirit of the enlightenment, felt that greek culture was too important to be surpressed by the disgusting/savage/muslim turks.

no disrespect to the greek culture. they are definitely one of the most important cultures in the history of civilization. democracy is just scratching the surface of greek contributions to western culture... but militarily, not the best

some turk bashing goin on. I've been to Turkey. It's a beautiful country with a lot of history (Ephesus, Roman catacombs/water reservoir, Mary's house, temples, etc... note: most is not turkish) Lots of nice people... but then you come accross the pigs. Just so many "men" that are ******* dirty animals. We tried to go into a temple to learn and they were pissed that we had the nerve to go into "their temple", stopped short of spitting on us. That religion is fucked... Lots of the men blatantly look at women like they want to rape and kill them, and not neccessarly in that order. If there werent a few guys in our group the girls would have had some serious problems... well... thats my
