I really like my vortex turned out straight.....they feel good that way...I have never tried db bars.....why did you only rock them for one day?

Renthal street ultra low bars, model 758 or known as scary gary bars on the HAI website.

I don't care about the db bar haters, these feel just like turned out clip ons but higher up, my wrists hurt less and I personally feel I have more control. I don't find it "easier" as such, but I feel more comfortabe with it which in turn helps with the stunting.

Horses for courses really... go with what you like best.

I love my DB bars, but full fairing with clipons on a stunter is the hotness

Re: db bars or clipons

i like my db bars because they are easy to fix and provide lots of room to mount my hb/clutch how i want it. they also give me a wider grip.

it's just easier to run them, i have an extra set of bars in my garage (cost me 40$) and even if i lost those or didn't have an extra set, i can drive to the local bike shop and pick up a set that day. with clip ons i'd have to order or whatnot. i probably could get the ones with replaceable bars and just keep extras, but i'd have to buy the clip-ons for 100+ to start out with.

basically, easy to fix, cheaper, and easier access to them. i also like the way they feel.

Re: db bars or clipons

runnin bars was alot of fun and i dont care what anyone says, it does make it easier when u have them stoppies and everything. not a bad thing that it makes **** easier thats how riding progresses by making **** easier. but anyway i just cant stand the look of bikes with bars on em, i like my bike to look as factory as possible. i think the chopped up f4i's look like **** and im sick of seeing them and ff with bars just looks super retarded. its bad enough that every squid *** thinks that the only reason u can stunt is cuz u got a hb and sprocket then when ur bike is all streetfightered with bars on it theyre all saying "oh well if my bike was like that i could do that too". blahh

that's a pretty weak excuse for not using them...you're scared to 12 because y ou lean back too far? wtf?

if you didn't like them you didn't like them, plain and simple. took me a few weeks to get used to mine. i used to hate them. don't make up a gay excuse like that....as soon as you said you couldn't bring yourself to take it to 12 because the bars are too high you sound like a girl. take off your 12 bar and try doing a 1 oclock.

Re: db bars or clipons

I'm gonna keep clipons on my R1 but I'm getting a F4i stunter after winter and I'm gonna do 3/4th fairings and get the full throttle tripple with scary gary bars. I hate the look of full fairing with DB bars but I think DB bars with side fairings & a Acerbis Diamond on the front looks

no u took it wrong my bar is a half inch off the back seat so it is 1 oclock and when i do bring it back the bars and risers i had were so tall it felt like i was upside down, just couldnt make myself like em so i put factory ***** on it and do better. Has nothin to do with not wantin to bring it back
