i bought a frame off ebay that didnt have any paperwork. i cannot get it either. is there any way to get it registered? could i buy another frame with a title and use it for the one thats put together already? just looking at my options. state highway patrol said i cant do anything with the frame i have.

 

Not gonna get frame registered you bought off ebay from sounds of it. Best bet is to buy a good frame with a title of some sort and swap all the parts onto it. I've sold a few bikes to ppl in ohio and they all had to be inspected by the DMV the ppl told me before they get plates and whatnot. So I don't think you can get away with trying to use a title from another frame on a bike with no paperwork.

sell it to someone else . You could hang it from the ceiling in your living room or something

Or you can grind down the vins and restamp it with a punch and hammer.

 

i got into a combersation about dis the other day. that if you show them you bought the frame and have proof of it that the dmv will restamp the frame, or if theres a vin find out who was the last owner and call them to see if they will give u a title

 

 

Pretty sure the last owner probabally didnt want to get rid of there bike im sure someone took it off there porch and took it apart and put it on ebay for them....

 

if it's an f4i frame sell it to me cheap i'll put my parts on it and ride it anyway

 

you could set it next to your dog kennel and IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE IF THERE WERE A TITLE TO IT.
