Re: stunt aid crash cages

i like the racing 905's cuz they are a lil more low profile. The SI's seem to stick out further than other cages. Which i guess is good on one hand cuz that means more protection... I also hear alot of people talk about powers cages too. I dunno i was just cruising the net for cages and found the stunt aids. i hadnt heard much about 'em, but i figured someone on here had.

Re: stunt aid crash cages

saw someone at the last show i was in had one. some guy was talking to me about my bike and said something about his so i walked out in the parking lot to check it out.

that thing is HUGE. the cage was lamost hitting the ground with the bike on the kickstand. had to weigh 50lbs and stuck out almost a foot. i wouldn't think of putting one of those on a bike.

Does anyone know who actually makes stunt aid cages? Is it a stunter? I'm sure they don't brag about it...

Yeah they stick out further but that serves a purpose. My clipons or tank has yet to hit the ground and I went over the front from a out of gas spreader and nothing on my bike was scratched

Re: stunt aid crash cages

i like their extended frame sliders, good quick and dirty way to get a new stuntbike going if you dont have time to rig a cage.

id never buy one but just weld a washer to a pipe and there you go. ive pancaked a couple f4i with no damage with those things.
