Re: salvaged bikes

I think that sounds a little high to pay for a salvage titled bike depending on the year.. But for four grand you can find a good clean titled bike for that amount so why not save yourself the hastle of clearing the title if you want to rock it on the streets.

Re: salvaged bikes

i pick up salvaged title bikes all the time and stunt them. theres many reasons why a bike can have a salvaged title. just make sure the frame, forks, rims, subframe and what not are all straight and youre good to go.

a salvaged title is usually because it was crashed and the total damage was over 50% of what the bike is worth or it was a stolen recovery.

but i wouldnt buy a salvaged title f4i for 3500-4000 no matter what year it is or condition.

we are... lol
cali bikes are expensive. clean title f4is with decent miles are at least $5000.
salvage titles cost around $3000-4000 not completely trashed.
its also gonna be a commuter not just a stunter so it cant be trashed.

i know its hard to find but i got my f4i clean title with 9000 miles on it for 25000. but it did have a bent swingarm withc was 20 bucks on ebay. bent front right rotor.mismatching plastics and needed another front master. so another way of saving is kinda buying a barely wrecked bike i guess. and my 954 i bought like 2 years ago was salvage title and never had a problem with it till i blew my motor from too many long rev limiters. so yeah. patience will save you money

Too High of price..

2200-28000 tops

Otherguys said it right.. Salv titles happen for lots of diff reasons.. SOME low-end laydowns + Tickets = Salv tittle in repairs etc..

Gay laws..

Test drive it.. Parking lot testing = Good parkin lot stunting..

Never under any circumstances take a salv title bike on the road unless u got GREAT MECHANICS..

Personal opinion.. Dont want to get anyone hurt !

But me.. if the rims and swing are straight.. PLAY BALL!

you can buy a 03-04 600rr for that price. my boy just picked up a 05 600rr with minimal plastic damage for $4000. and that was IN CALI.

you just gotta be patient and dont be one of those newbies that gets ripped off.

Re: salvaged bikes

Since I started stunting I've always bought salvaged. Why take a dive on an investment that you KNOW will eventually CRASH (pun intended).

Re: salvaged bikes

i paid 3000 for mine with like 6500 or something, 02 f4i salvaged and the headlight did not work. I ended up paying 300 for that and like another 5 or 6 for the cage bar and handbreak,
but the bike hasn't given me a problem so far

Re: salvaged bikes

Clean title F4is sell on stuntusa all the time for less than that. There were a couple on there recently with clean titles for around 3 g's.
