For Your Information...

If you cut down your F4i exhaust, the stock end cap from a 03-04 636 fits perfectly and will rivet right on so you don't have too worry about finding someone that welds stainless steel. :YEAH

Re: For Your Information...

looks like that subcage is pretty close to the tire, maybe it's because it's strapped down

Not really strapped down, its strapped more sideways than down. I kind of wedge it into my tailgate. It just sits that close to the tire .

Re: For Your Information...

I concur... self tappers with stainless washers to shim the space between the cap and can seems to work in a jiff.....

Re: For Your Information...

did you just cut it where ever you wanted then rivet a 636 end cap back on? did you have to mess with anything inside the can?

you have to mess with a lot inside the can. there are a couple different baffle chambers in the f4i can.

do'nt cut them all out or it'll be crazy loud. no need to make a 2" long exhaust, you only really need to cut a few inches off of it, not stupidly small like some people. it's gay to have tiny exhaust, along with pointless.....you don't need that much clearance and it gets super loud.
