dirt bike pegs

anyone know which dirt bike pegs will fit on an 04 636 with the least amount of modifing i matched up my 50 pegs and they were still too wide...haven't tried my crf250's yet but i think they'll be way to wide..

Re: dirt bike pegs

I never found any that would fit perfectly w/out modifications. I had to cut about a 1/4 inch off my YZ450F pegs to get them to fit on my FZ-1. It's pretty easy w/ a cutting wheel.

Re: dirt bike pegs

+1 dont think any will fit straight on.. I bought fiddy pegs and ground them down with an angle grinder until they fitted snug.. the springs don't fit though... and I didn't even like them!! too flat, no movement, hard to use the brake... and then I flipped a sit down and put the peg through back of my left leg.. wouldt reccomend mx pegs to be honest!

Yeah, they take a little gettin used to. The only reason I use them is because my 240 pound *** likes to break ****. You have to customize the springs too. Not quite sure what you are saying about impailing yourself, OEM pegs are much more dangerous........thinner, sharper.....the DB pegs are wide and flat w/ a super rounded end. If you woulda had OEM style pegs, it might have gone all the way THROUGH your leg. Anyway, I like mine........never have to worry about breaking them.......even in a wreck, they definetly won't snap like a OEM.

Re: dirt bike pegs

MX pegs have sharp points on them to grip MX boots in mud and wet weather..

it dont look too bad in the pic but its deeper than it looks, took a while to heal and has scarred real bad.. but chicks dig scars right?

I keep meaning to change the peg back..

Each to their own though...

Have you head of pivot pegz? they rotate forward slightly when you push your foot forward , i think these would line up with the rear brake really good and still be a big firm footing.

I've actually seen pegs IN peoples legs, that's what I thought you were sayin. That looks like a scratch.......won't be much of a scar, don't plan on gettin laid for that one....LOL
