What master cylinder are you guys using for HB?

I decided against the ebay HB kit since a few of you told me it was a waste of money and you cant mount it under the clutch. I found a 02 GSXR 1000 front brake master cylinder that i was thinking of getting and then ordering the brake lines and banjo bolts from HAI. Is that the way to go? It is a radial master. Like i said im new to the whole HB. Last time i posted some of you told me to get a master cylinder off ebay. So am i going the right direction with the 1000 radial master?

All depends what you wanna spend. If you have the $ the Brembo is sick. But you can get a nice radial for a hundred bucks.

I have an 04-06 R1 (made by brembo) for front brake and the 16x18 on the HB. Pricey but they have a nice feel and good power.

ive ran a 06 R6 05 R1 and a 954 master (dont know what year), but my favorite by far is the 954 master (dont know if it was a radial, but it had a sweet feel to it).

929/954 is not Radial, but it does work pretty well.

Re: What master cylinder are you guys using for HB?

Ran an 06 Gixxer 1000 radial for the past year, pretty good if you keep it bled perfect all the time. I rode a bike with an R1 radial and seems a little better. Radials seem to run about $100 on ebay like what was said above. The newer the better of course since there will be less wear and tear on them.

Just got a 16x18 Magura and is it worth the few hundred more for this. YEP! It's more consistant, on point, and powerful, giving you more confidence, which pushes progression. I've rode w/ a brembo 16x18 too. There just as powerful as the magura, just more spungy and not as precise, and the lever has a sharp angle which I don't like.

everyone seems to love the brembo 16x18. Havent heard of 1 person not liking it yet. When I pickup a F4i gonna get the 16x18, braided line, & the hohey dual caliper bracket.

Thinking about geting a full throttle handbrake kit & the 16x18 for my R1.

For the most part. You are just going to limit yourself if you dont get one.

Brembo 16 x 18, spend the money.

I didn't click on the link when I first saw it cause I already knew what I want but when I saw the quote saying "******* SICK" I clicked on it and laughed. Definatly no brake fade with that.
