Yep they'll may be remembered all right. Rembered as quitters. As the stunt game progresses, the sport continues to grow, and new things coming about, and everyone is killing what some FL guys USED to do no one will care.

As sad as it sounds it's just the truth.

Do you think anyone that quits cares about being remembered, uh no. In the years he was around he was so far ahead of most people in skill it wasn't even funny. He was so much better than you he was bored. He didn't need to "have what it takes" (as you say) to stick around, because he was doing **** you still won't be able to no matter how long you(or other people for that matter) stick around. You really sound like you are trying to make yourself feel better because you are so dedicted you haven't quit.

Probably not your right, I didn't see him on here defending himself so it shows that he don't care. I just disagree with him being remembered as a great rider who did so much for this sport. I just really really HATE ******* quitters. And especially for someone with his skills to just up and quit for no lagitimate reason other than, I'm bored...! We all get bored, and the quitting **** is fukin weak. It's not the matter of I CAN'T ride ie money issues, injury, etc, that I can understand, unless I missed something.. To me quitting for reasons of being bored especially a rider with his potential, is the biggest disrespect to any stunter from the supersquid, to the top riders in the country, and doesn't deserve the props given all over this thread in my opinion.

 

What's wrong with stopping doing something because you're bored? I ride because the fun outweighs the hardships for me at the moment. But when that stops..

Nothing wrong with that at all. All I saw was that he was really really good, and possibally had the ability to smoke some of the best riders in the country in competition, be a lot more, and do more for the sport before he decided to quit. If he did this for fun, accomplished the goals he wanted, and didn't give a **** about pushing the sport, which clearly he didn't being that he quit on the sport that's fine. But in this thread it seems like he's getting props for doing all this stuff for the sport which I don't see what it is he did other than quit.

 

What is it going to take to get this through your head. lol This has nothing to do with me, and I don't know how my riding or what I ride for got brought into this? I never typed anything compareing my rideing and what I do to anyone elses. Did I ever say someone owes me anything or someone else, or that he owes the sport somthing. NO!

The guy definitely was good, I'm not arguein aginst that. I just think he could have been a lot better and done so much more than he did, and in "my opinion" he hung it up before he really got started, and is getting way more props than he deserves. What are these tricks that supposedly "nobody" will EVER do?? **** if I see it I'll retract everything I said and admit that I'm wrong and he deserves his props.. I believe I saw "JUST PRODUCING" post somthing up about haveing footage of Gary's latest riding before he hung it up guess when the vid comes out we'll see.

you know what that video fish posted was definetely off the chain.....but on the flipside i didnt really see any new tricks.....gary has already quit and you still havent seen all the tricks hes done because otown throw down isnt out yet.....and u can call all the guys from otown lame quiters but your still gonna have to buy the video when it comes out cause all those quiters just took this sport to a new level before they threw in the towel....maybe once the otown guys see the rest of the sport catch back up to them they will make a comeback....but you my friend will just be remembered as a **** talker. if you dont wanna watch these guys in the otown throw down then ur definetely not trying to improve yourself because the key to staying current is to know and watch all the new stuff being done. and im sure if you were doing hundreds of new tricks that pros havent even tryed or thought of and you werent getting 1 penny from it youd consider quiting also. if theres anything you need to quit its "posting on stuntlife".....and its NOT a rumor....this film will be entirely new tricks no one has seen yet hense i have not posted footage of gary in over a year because i have been saving everything...i could release this film in 2 years from now and all the tricks would still be new cause there just arent any other super natural gravity defying robot ninjas out there on bikes
