idle help ?

idle help ?

my bike aint catching idle after gets hot
f4i 2002 600 :YEAH i idle at 3400

It catches nice at the begining then it stops wanting to grab the idle and yes im very slow when up there its weird IT catches and im having fun riding the idle then after a a while it doesnt want to . ergh

do i need to a tune up or anything??? .....spark plugs anything ??

any adviced be great

not an expert but would it have something to do with the float bowls or carbs ??? something with losing fuel over time and jus bogging out??? idk man im sorry

the 02 F4i is fuel injected so it wouldnt be carbs.. If its bogging out i would check the plugs. just pull them and see if they look good.

ok check your map sensor and vacum hosing same thing just happened to me

do you rung gauges on your bike?? if so are you throwing any codes??? that will lead you in the direction of your problem

not really getting the catching idle part? Sounds more like you're not catching idle...... or do you mean it won't hold a certain rpm?

what i mean ill be out in the lot slowing it down and when i slow it down to grab idle it will catch nice then after a while it s starts giving out like its tired lol i dont know im changing plugs tommorow it has not been change for about a year or 2 ....

hhahahahahaha westcoast madness all day i hear they run very well on the southbay u heard lol
