06 f4i.......any good?

i have an 01' 929 that i am trading and some guy offered me an 06'f4i...i have some offers for some 01' 02' 03 f4i's too...just wondering if the 06 is any good b/c i know that they made the 600rr which is more popular.

essentially the questions i have are..
1-is it a good parking lot stunt bike
2-are parts hard to get
3-is it just as good as an older f4i
4-is there a huge diff. b/w the 06 f4i and the RR

600rr for the track and F4I for the lots. If it was me, change the sub and banana seat to an 01-03 just my opinion.

I dunno why anyone would swap the subframe to an older crapier one unless they're vain or prefer cracked/ taped up tails. There's a movement towards the banana seat for a reason.

True, I had a couple banana bikes. Nothing wrong with them and more comfortable but Dirty Jerzey, don't you think they look retarded? Oh, and taped up tails are where it's at!

*****!!! Just Kidding

My F4i runs smooth as a baby's ***, but it def doesn't have the power of my significant other's 6rr. I call my F4i a "slug bike" w/ no power, but my more experienced significant other cuts o's on it, practically stock, with no problem and its slightly lowered still! Its not an endo machine either...squishy front end. I noticed that my significant other doesn't quite endo so well on the slug bike as compared to the stiffer rr. We're putting more gearing on slug bike to make it "burrrrr up" the way I want it to.

If I had to do it all over again, I think I'd go rr because I like the instant power, lightness and has a sportier, more aggressive performance. He likes it too...and won't trade me. I like riding his rr much more than my F4i. It's easier to clutch up and it feels like its built for my small body. He'd probably do better with more complex combos on a steadier bike like my F4i, but that's all preference and style.

Also, it will be easier to get parts for the rr, as Honda no longer make F4i's.

But we'll see who's frame or subframe goes first...his rr is way flimsier and the subframe bends easy.

no, chet, i love bananas b/c they're super comfy!!! I don't think they look any different in a lot than any other ugly stunter bike.

Oh i forgot to mention...the RR seat sucks giant hairy sweaty *****. It's like stunting on a seat made of granite. Be prepared to get a corbin.

Re: 06 f4i.......any good?

the f4i used to be THE race bike, and when the RR came out in 03, the f4i got a banana seat the next year so it could take the crown in a different class, competing against the likes of the yzf600r and such
