hey guys wondering the fastest anyone has been i posted this on the racers for racers blog but there seems to be more people on this one of course its on a legal drag strip ...lol

there was just a thread on here....just like this one....and tons of people participated in it..... go and read back through the last couple months of threads...and see if you can find it.... I think the fastest was 294 :YEAH

I got 36mph on my 3 speed when i was a lad. My mate was holding on to the back with roller skates on. The hole thing was just plane sick:YEAH
He tried it again with a less skilled rider the next week, and well..... i never got to say goodbye. Some say they hit over 40mph and his wheels melted, but i'll never know

also, those posting, a speedo reading is inacurate as all get out.
only post registered/calibrated speeds:
for me, tony's 04 r1, stretched, schnit's headwork, full exhaust, remap and intake, 1 down 2 up (it's geared for 1/4 mile). It has a 100 shot of nitrous but this was not used for our all motor run.
calibrated 180mph flat on my final run. first 2 runs were 167 then 178. There was still 500rpm left on the motor that i couldn't pull. Next trip is with the nitrous to over-come the wind resistance. we are also going back to stock gearing for the speed run.
just for a compairson, we also ran 2 other mildly modded r1's of the same year. both with exhaust and a power comander, jason's was 168 and billy's was 164, both maxed out. so anyone that says a stock r1 will do 180 is bs'ing or just looking at the horribly inaccurate speedo.
