Orlando/Kissimmee guys
Orlando/Kissimmee guys
Yo whats good? Im posting here since it gets the most traffic.
Well, basically I was wondering if any of you guys are down here, and if your new to stunting, and if your around my age (which I HIGHLY doubt).
Im hopefully getting a bike in a couple months, and I thought it would be cool to have someone to practice with.
Im 16, so thats why I figured none of you guys would be around my age.
But even if your not, could I get some advice on wheelies and all? Like I read the stickies, watched how to wheelie vids, and all that jazz, but I just want some like advice, not just how to do it, and if there is a sticky about that then my bad cause I missed it. And im trying to get a used bike, but I may just wind up with either a new ZZR 600 or Ninja 650r, so if I did wind up with one of those two, which would be better for the wheelies?
Thanks.

Re: Orlando/Kissimmee guys
dont get the zzr or the ninja you'll regret it, get a used f4i or kawi 636, as for learning wheelies find yourself a parking lot or a nice dead end road and practice practice practice, and bring a friend to call for help when you mess up lol
Re: Orlando/Kissimmee guys
Yeah, im hoping that I dont screw up so bad to where we gotta call for help, and where do you live at? I saw your location but I dont know where that is, like how far from orlando?
And if you know anyone with one of those for sale in a couple months let me know, cause its hard as hell finding something good for cheap (not like 1k cheap) and I cant get it for a couple months anyways so yeah.
Thanks for the advice too.

im about an hour away from orlando, i have a friend that goes to auctions and gets clean titled bikes really cheap and there in good condition too, he can problably get you a newer F4i for around 3g's or a 636 for around 4 or 5g's
Re: Orlando/Kissimmee guys
That sounds tight, it wouldnt be for a couple months though, cause im trying to get my GED, and the bike is a gift from my dad so yeah.
Is there like a big stunt scene down here? I used to roll with the "wheelers" we called them when I was in pakistan, wheelies, stunts, races, running from cops, fights, haha it was all there. But basically I was like part of a family there you know what im sayin, and I was just wondering if the scene down here is like that too.
And by the way, I never did the stunts/wheelies, so thats why im new to all this.

Re: Orlando/Kissimmee guys
heh still learning, i got in a bad wreck in feb. which left me with a shattered heel and kept me from riding anything but a wheelchair for 3 months
then a month ago i started riding again and getting back into it and started hittin the lot, but last wednesday a woman on her cell phone pulled out in front of me as i was doing 35-40 and now my bikes trashed
haha it seems like everytime i start to get better something shitty happens

Damn that sucks.
Do police stop you alot? Like when your just driving along like a car? Cause ima be drivin without my license for the first few months, cause I have to work to make like half my bike payments (if I cant convince my dad to buy me a used one.)
I just wanna know how big of a chance do I have of getting stopped, and If I do, then whats the worst that could happen?

i hardly ever get bothered by the cops in daytona, they usually dont bother you unless you doing something stupid
Re: Orlando/Kissimmee guys
Damnit, oh well. I was just watching a vid on youtube, and they were in orlando and the cop stopped the guy and he had no license an got arrested. Its an Inside Edition newscast thingy on bikers, and its pretty good too. Just search for 'Brazen Bikers' and click on the Up On One Brazen Bikers thing, theres another too but idk if they are different.
