Ballin enough to not travel 3000 miles to get $600

I'm a contractor for a living, and...
I hate it when builders don't pay me. I am usually under a contract though, so I have something to fall back on when they can't be found or reached after the job is done. That doesn't happen a whole lot, but when it does it really pisses me off.

Ever thought of sending someone a contract before you send any footage and having them sign-off on an agreed upon price so that you will be protected from this??
I'm not saying that it would work in every situation, and I understand how most people might take offense to you making them sign something....alot of builders want to do business with a handshake.
I had to stop doing that or my help would be the only ones getting paid and I would be stuck with no paycheck and spending money out of my pocket to pay the guys. If anyone is a professional at what they are doing then they shouldn't have a problem signing off, and even like in this particular case, giving a deposit and agreeing to a later date for the balance to be paid if that is what you both have agreed upon.

Damn not good.. As I see it either hold up your end of the deal or at least try and work something out. I am sure had todd answered your calls and said I can send 1/2 now and 1/2 next month you would of said sure that would be ok after already waiting 2 years.

Darius I have never really talked to you much other then stunt wars and some and last years stuntfest but your a great rider and shoould get paid for what he agreed to. StuntFest is coming up just come take the money right out of his hand and then go for a win to get some extra but I don't think $500 will cover your gas your 2500HD for sure I have the same truck ( BTW I got right after I saw yours because it was sic looking plus a tundra does not pull a 24" trailer all that good. ). lol

I cant see somebody oversees buyin stuntwars for 5 mil imo. Its big yeah, but thats alot of dough to make up wit somethin that only happens once a year

todd tried to pull a fast one on me too. when ac farias came to town todd promised to completly set up my bike if i let ac ride it for stuntwars, so i agreed and when it was all over he said i had to give the 12 bar back and no stabilizer... but i could keep the handle bars?? anyway after it was all said and done i got to keep all the parts at the cost of chasing all the pieces to and around orlando... thanks joe vertical for helping me find all the parts to my dismantled bike and thanks you kenny for helping stick up to todd and keep my parts !!!

 

The fact that any of you believe that $5mil stuff for a second is very sad.
