Now that I dont have plastics covering my exhaust I would like to get somthing done to them. I was thinking of getting them a high gloss black color , but I think the only way is ceramic coating, does anyone have information on this or do they sell exhaust for an 06 gsxr like this?

Should I prep the metal in any way besides probably cleaning it?

 

the other day me and my homeboy were trying to think of something to do with his can. we came up with the idea to drink a case of mickeys tall cans and rivet them to the can. it turned out pretty sweet possibly the most balla **** eva son, i think its gonna be the new hotness. i tried to post pics but nextels sevice is ******* up......imagine that.

go to a local auto paint supply place and ask them bout heat proofing flakes....

I have some on order, its like 20 bucks a pound (which isnt bad for flakes)

But theyre tiny ******* ceramic beads, and you mix them in with paint and/or clearcoat, and it makes the paint heat proof up to X degrees...

they were devloped by nasa, and its what nasa puts in the paint on the shuttle, so i doubt your exaust would burn through it.
