Re: FI cage

Yeah bashed my 929 Friday night in a 1st gear roll on stand up wheelie. 12ed onto my license plate and decided 2 bail. Broke the clipon at the clutch perch and broke the left FI bolt that goes into the frame at the slider. Broke that off into the frame. The right side FI bolt stripped complete out. Appears im gonna have 2 retap the right side. All in all, FI saved the bike, but did a few *** ups itself...=-)

Re: FI cage

any cage will bend or break the bike after countless hits. I'll put money that your loop if properly installed didn't just crack the case the first hit. that cage is prob haggard.

I love my FI cage! never had a problem

Re: FI cage

i was not asking what cage is the best, or what cage i should put on my minty new bike! i was asking if anyone has had the same problem with an si cage flexing into the stator cover!....i am not new to the stunting game, and im not some squid who has been stunting for 2 weeks. so i do not think this was a question that should have been a poll.

Re: FI cage

Any REAL cage like SI,powers even 905 will work fine for you because of there material, as to a FI cage.... there flamesliders with braceing... witch is cool if your a PRO or a stunt poser, i have never had SI but i have had powers and 905 theres really not alot of differance between the 3 so i would think youd be fine with and of those 3, although i prefer powers EVERYONE says SI is alot like powers... theres advanages and disavanages to all them

like the BIGGEST advanage for me goin with powers is all his cages are made so there is NO fairing cutting where with 905 and SI you have to cut on some models and my stunters a realllllllly clean full fairing bike so i didnt wanna do that, so i think anything but FI will do you right!! just look into it...

Re: FI cage

my friend 12'd and cork screwed his bike last weekend and he HAD a FI....... that thing strait up bent and flexed and damn...... BUT it did save alot of **** on his bike... however he was only going 10 mph max and the bike didnt skid very much just fell on its side from a 12.... i guess all in all the FI is a one time beater.. as soon as it takes a good hit its done...... kinda like a helmet!
