Lol I sure did. I flipped it. But talking about the grip, should I use skateboard tape or the clear one with the little spikes all over it? Also do u think it is deep enough?( I also need the whole tail fairing 4 my bike if u know anyone?)

Re: My first tank smash

I could tell you flipped it, haha.
Dent looks decent to me, for your first one. Just use skateboard grip tape, or go to hai and get some, sence you live right there in Otown.

If you repaint the bike, sand that **** down, then smooth it out with some bondo. That way you won't see the dents.

I do plan on getting it painted, thats why im a little hesitant to put the skateboard tape because of how difficult it would be to take it off. Ive been sitting on it but i havnt tried to wheelie it yet, any pointers?

Re: My first tank smash

take a heat gun and welding gloves to the front plastic part to make it sit closer to flush...

I've never tried stomp grip (clear with the spikes as you call it) But, at cyclegear they sell some clear griptape.... its like the skateboard stuff, just clear, and not quite as grippy so it wont tear through yoru pants as quick. It seems to hold up better to the rain as well... I used to have the a peice of surf traction, but i bought soft so it wore out fast...

can use bondo to smooth it out too, and make it look nicer

Hey Does The Bondo Hold Up.. Seams Like It Would Crack And Chunk Off With The First Firm Hit To The Tank. Or Does It Stay Nice And Purdy? The Dude That Did My Tank Mangled It.. Its Smooth And **** But Its Not Pretty. And Really Deep With Sharp Sides.
