Hyperpro

Well, lately i've been seeing a lot of good things about hyperpro...

i want/need a damper but theyre hella expensive.

long story short, i found a brand new hyperpro for a 06 gsxr with the brackets... Anyone know how hard it would be to rig up to an 06 r6? I mean, i could order the brackets from hyperpro for the 06 r6, and in the end it would still (hopefully) be cheaper than getting one direct...

Too bad your not in south florida. You should see the way OMR got a Sprint R6 dampner to fit on his kawisucki, looks hella clean, i'm sure a local fabricator in your area could do the same.

Re: Hyperpro

I had a hyperpro on my 929 with stock clipons too and it wasnt good enough for rolling longer stopppies with some speed. Personally you can never go wrong with an Ohlins but these newest Gpr's seem to be the best for stunting.

I managed to land on my feet kinda squatting and thought i was out of the way, but witness said my bike "looked like a scopion tail attacking me"

Re: Hyperpro

diggin it up, sorry.. i got a Q about the new hyperpro dampers. it says on the box they are speed sensitive dampers.. doesnt that suck for stoppies?
i asked for a conventional (linear) damper, not a progressive damper.
also, i dont think its very stiff!! any input??

Re: Hyperpro

I have a hyperpro, and i think it does the job good. You can get 2 different ones. i have the RSC which is the best one they have. It automatically adjusts the tension on the dampner depending on speed and pressure. It has 24 settings but i usually keep it at about 12-14. I had to fabricate a bracket on my f4i. I basically just cut and rewelded my r6 bracket. I had to add a few pieces but not that bad.

Re: Hyperpro

dont you want the dampening to be equal all the time?? so a slapper doesnt have the chance to even begin? i had a bitubo with a little play in it and at almost the heaviest setting it gave me this: http://movie.rwpstuntriding.com/StoppieWheelyday.wmv
