Help with a stunt bike.

I want to buy a stunt bike but I don't want to spend too much money for the initial set up.

Whats a good/cheap bike that I can start with?

And can someone give me a list of parts that I need to get started on the bike?

-cage
-12 o'clock bar
-???
-???
-???

All help is appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Help with a stunt bike.

So:

-F4I (600cc right?) what years should be ok? I don't want to run into any problems like oil starvation because of wheelies. I heard the newer ones don't have this problem.

-Plastics off
-Cage
-Good Brakes
-Then hit up local guys like theguy386 to watch and learn from.

I got a silver/black streetfightered f4i (with sides) set up to stunt. MXD full cage, 12 bar, cut down pegs, turned out stock clipons, -1 +14 gearing, tipover and clutch sensor wired off - $3500. It's in good shape and I'm in LA.

Re: Help with a stunt bike.

When I start practicing slow wheelies, what's the best way to start?

After learning brake/throttle control:

Do I learn by trial and error how to clutch it up to BP right away?

How does the back brake come into play (besides saving me from looping it)?

Do I have to hold the back brake while riding the wheelie for it to go slow?

HELP please! Thanks!

just concentrate on getting ur front wheel up first. cover the rear brake the entire time. stop giving it gas and brake when it gets up too high for ya.
