'05 636 12 o'clock problems.. hydrolock

We were all out at the local spot today messing around when my buddy suggested we lift the bike to 12 o'clock to see what it felt like, so I would know when I was getting close. We set it on the 12 bar and the engine was boggy, then died. I tried to restart it twice and then it wouldn't even turn over. Oil started pouring out of somewhere near the motor and continued even after we quickly got the bike back on both wheels.

We loaded the bike on a trailer which was already there because some dude just looped his clean F2 and brought it home. Ripped the spark plugs and cranked it over; oil shot out of all four cylinders and made a giant mess in my garage. The motor was hydrolocked. Put everything back together and ran it for about ten minutes until it stopped blowing oil smoke out the exhaust and now it seems OK, but.. what the hell happened? We pulled the air filter out and that was dry, and the airbox didn't seem to have any oil in it. Is this related to the PCV/kleen air mod somehow?

Edit: the bike's an '05 ZX6R

At least you don't have to worry about how to use the handbrake anymore.

The airbox looked fine though and didn't really smell like oil. So the kleen mod will fix this? Sounds good, that's what I'll do..
