This was hilarious. I bought this fairing from him on 6/29 paid instantly.

First message to him with no response:

Next, I fill out a eBay "user information request":

He responds with this:

Is there a issue Ted? I recieved a strange email from ebay stating your trying to gather info on me?? whatever it is,stop it.Im not sure whats up,but thank you,I notice you have made your payment,and your fairings will go out on Monday,Tuesday the latest...as stated in my auction w/in 2 business days.Thanks.

I respond with this:

Its a buyer/seller option offered by eBay. Its for both parties to
check if eachother are legit members. I do that with all my
transactions to be safe or if eachother are trying to contact
eachother. Here is the link. Didnt mean to alarm you. Thanks again
for the sale.

"7" days later no fairings, so I send multiple messages:

1.) hey did you ship the fairings out?

2.) Hi ***** did you send my fairings, if so whats the tracking number.

Still no responses.

So I decide to call him this morning. Left message for him, went like this to his voicemail:

Hey ****** This is the guy that bought the fairings just wanted to see if you sent them out yet I sent some emails so if you get this phone call please check your emails. Thanks, Ted

2 seconds later he calls with this:

"Yelling LOUD" Is this Ted? Hey you little ****** punk, you have some ****** ***** calling me on my phone in the morning telling me to check my email, I sent those ****** things out. You ****** little punk you got a good deal. Your real tough over the phone etc etc etc. (even though I havnt even started to get rude or "Tough" yet, Maybe he's delusional?)

Me: But I sent you emails and you never responded thats why I called just to make sure everything was cool.

Him: I dont have time to check my emails all the time and...(Now I interupt and let him have it)

I DID SEND MULTIPLE EMAILS AND YOU DID READ THEM! he says, oh now your calling me a lia......SHUT YOUR MOUTH, IVE BEEN POLITE TO YOU FOR OVER A WEEK WHILE TRYING TO COMMUNICATE SO YOU BROUGHT THIS ON YOURSELF. YOU ARE A LIAR!!! ...he then hangs up on me...(Tough Guy)

I send him this last email to finish what I was saying:

Hey ******, you have a serious anger issue but then again so do I
thats why my doctor prescribed me my pills so I stopped breaking my
hands on peoples jaws. You dont know me at all and you call me yelling
and cursing up a storm. Who do you think you are? I have been decent
to you with emails and the 1 phone call. You didnt let me explain why
I accused your 35 year old *** as a liar because you hung up so fast.

You werent responding to your
emails sir which is why I have every right to call your restricted
phone number. When I deal with someone on eBay I obtain so much
information on them it shocks them. I do that for my own peace of
mind. So if you wanna MAN up and apologize and put this behind us I'll
do the same. You better pray I get something in the mail today.

i ordered some r1 parts about 2 weeks plus ago, and all this ebay **** is worrying me cause no the guy isnt returning my messages either... man what the ****? Whats this cat's username, just so i know if i crossed em up too....

ebay is full of ********
just like anywhere else.
i try to sell bikes on there and all the haterz with 0 feedback buy the bike and i email them, and they actually email me back that they had no intentions of buying the bike.

then i apply for credit and ebay files a strike against them.
then i get my listings for free and end up selling the bike

so basically ebay sux *** and need some new rules.

but were would we be without it, hell im on there right now.

ebay is way too easy on the scammers and deadbeats, yeah they credit our fees but damn it's annoying wasting our time

 

That dude should have had it in the mail and a confirmation number on your email the day after he knew the money was there. Thats what decent people do, lazy deadbeats that try to **** honest people dont return emails and get pissed over 1`phone call. I d post his username up so nobody else has this problem, especially if you dont get the plastic.

I have tried Ebay before.... Tried selling things and did not even get a bite. Tried buying stuff only to get junk in the mail. I will not use E bay. Its a rip off and you never know what your getting. I have the best luck with Craigslist. You see what you want, and you meet the person to get it. Swap money , goods, and your on your way. Thats the best way for me anyway!

 

I hate ebay, the last thing I bought (paid instantly) , over 3 weeks I emailed him like 10 times asking wtf is up with my parts... no responses. I file a paypal claim and 5 min. later he responds. Finally got my **** after a month.

 

yea i prefer craigslist and underbid, but its hit or miss with what you /want/need/looking for
