Take Your Time First Of All Its Most Likley Not Going To Be Perfect It Takes Some Practice Hit The Metal Part In First Then You Need To Get A Heat Gun And A Propain Or Mapp Gas Flame You Might Get Away With Just The Heat Gun Take The Plastic Away From The Gas Tank And Warm Up The Area You Want To Push In Real Good Dont Count On The Paint Still Being There Your Going To Need A Screw Driver Or Something To Push Hard Once Youve Got It Real Hot Put It Back On The Gas Tank And Push Down Its Going To Take Sometime I Would Show Some Pics But Dont Have Any Right Now Do Not Warm Up On The Gas Tank And Good Luck

Re: Help denting 06 cbr 600rr tank

i took the tank cover off and dented the tank with a deadblow hammer. start right behind the gas cap and then work your way around. once you get the shape you want put the tank cover back on and use a heat gun to heat it up. just do small sections at a time and work it around. it is a long process but it is worth it. put some sticky **** on it so you dont slide around.
