I finally took pictures of it mounted up, mirror mounts also. The gauges ziptie them down. Like I said, they are super mega pro stuntstays, run a stop watch. Ill have them ready in the short future.

Not bad but those upper headlight mounts are still going to rip off the headlight housing....

 

design looks real good. some concerns i would have is that it looks so bulky that the added weight might not be worth the protection that it offers. like it seems that with that, yes your fairing stay wouldnt be breaking but if you flip over a stoppie that its gonna break the ram air housing bolt holes? personally i just am looking for something that is gonna add some support to the existing ram air box. i like to keep my ram air in there for whatever reason it just makes me feel better.

You do know that ram air does nothing at all unless your flying down the freeway right? How much do you think its helping you while its pointin up in the air and not getting any airflow at all while in a wheelie? You cannot notice any difference with or without it....

Im not sure about the 05 because I havent had a good look at that frame yet, but with my 03/04 stays I mount them the same way. And Ive looped stoppies, crashed hard, even crashed into a SUV... And that part of the frame is fine, the mounting bolts shear before anything else....

About the weight.....this is why I make mine out of aluminum....and my full stay wieghs less then 905's half stay....

 

No I do not have 05+ stays yet, still working on getting that bike in the shop to design one....I will but I cant tell you exactly when as Im relying on other people to lend me this bike...Sorry

They will be $250 but there will be a contingency of if you send me a major magazine article/movies spot with my part and my sticker on the side of your bike you get $25-$50 up to 2 times depending on size of picture in mag. Up to my descression if i see it or not. There is some more rules but that is the jist of it, im still finishing up the specifics.

This is a good picture of the sticker on the frame! and if this bastard ever gets back down here we will have a SuperMegaPro-stuntstay but he is still my boy.

I wasnt impressed at all and was actually pretty pissed off they took me for $250 and sent me that piece of scrap metal, I then waited for runaway customs to post his design. Again not impressed even thou he only was akin $150 for his, so I was forced to start makin them myself...I would honestly be embarresed to make something like they make and actually expect people to pay good money for them....Yes its a stunt part but that doesnt mean they have to look and be built like ****....

Im a woodworker and have nothing to do with the metal business, and Im still able to make a much better product IMO, then these big name companies...

 

Mine isn't much heavyier than the factory. ill measure it at the post office for you guys to get exact. If you want light weight get a vortex one but they bend like a pretzel.

 

Vortex only makes the upper section that still requires you to use the OEM plastic ram air/stay....And its even weaker then the OEM cast part that its supposed to replace, so that would be a complete waste of time...

 

Id like to see an 03-04 one.
