Help...GSXR Dented Tank Leaks Gas At Cap
My tank is pretty dented from highchair stoppies. When I put gas in my bike I can only put like 1+1/2 gallons of gas in it because anymore gas and doing stoppies causes the gas to leak out from the front of the cap. How can I fix this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

We all ride gixxers and all have the same problem, or had at least... try putting some gasket maker around the inner hole and closing the lid slowly onto it, then let it dry. Open it slowly so that the dry gasket maker stays on the tank opening and doesn't tear and stick to the lid. That's what we do and it provides a really good seal that prevents most leaks. You might have to redue it every few months.

buy a screw-on race gas cap.
