Hi people,

I have decided to buy a bike which I will be dedicating to stunt practice. I am a huge Suzuki fan but read every where that they dont hold up very well when it comes to the sort of abuse stunt bikes take. After careful consideration I have narrowed it down to the kawasaki zx6r (03-04 OR maybe 05) OR the Honda CBR F4i. Both bikes I understand are built like tanks so I shouldnt have too much problem with them.

My main concern is that I am 6'3" tall and am not sure which bike is best suited to the taller rider. Any one out there tall and ride any of these bikes? please let me know what bike you prefer the most. I really dont want to trash my new gixxer.

I like the look of both ZX6R & F4i (zx6r a tad more aggresive), Im hoping to pick one up in a couple of weeks and your help would be gratefully appreciated.

03-04 636 BY FAR THE WAY TO GO. IM 6'0 185 AND IT FITS ME GREAT PLUS YOU GET THE EXTRA 36CC WHICH CAN'T HURT, RIGHT? THAT'S MY !

 

If you get a Kawi go with the 05-06 waaaay better in my opinion. The F4i is extremely solid to. I'm 6'1 and fit comfortably on all three bikes you talked about. I like the F4i and the 05 636 they basically wheelie and circle on their own you just hold on.

 

im 6'4 240 and my f4i feels good tom me...from what ive seen/heard 636s are pretty dope,minus the 03-04 fork prob...they both have the positve/neg...cant really go wrong with either...

 

01-03 f4i, i like the 636 but f4is hold up way better imo

Sorry to bring this up again but its crunch time for me. I have got two options now.

1.) 2002 honda cbr600f4i £2500 20k miles on the clock

2.) 2005 kawasaki zx6r £3000 5k miles on the clock (slight plastic damage)

I dont really care about the condition of either bikes (plastics wise), as its going to end up with plenty of war wounds on it. I just cant decide which would be a better bike to dedicate purely to stunting.

I need to make a decision quick so I can pick the bike up on the weekend.

I dont really post much as you can see, but I do read alot of the threads. Especially while im at work!

Im only asking for advice as I have only ever owned and ridden suzukis, and I know how everyone at stunt(honda)life.com feels about suzuki's being used as stunt bikes. Thats why I have decided to get another bike purely for learning.

I can do basic sitdown wheelies, short endos, burnouts etc. I just want to take it further without worrying about trashing my clean bike.

 

If it was me i would get the 05/w 5k on it!
I ride a f4i and love it!
But if I had that decision to make I would go with the newer bike!
I have rode an 05 636 and it is sweet!!!
Way more pull off idle than my bike and SMOOTH!!
Even though you will replace the sub frame a few times if your a newb!
