Scam Letter in SSB Magazine
Re: Scam Letter in SSB Magazine
ill preface this with the following........ borne im not trying to crap on you.... i wouldnt know you if i walked into you ........ and at least 2 people im still very close with speak very highly of you so i dont want you to think im attacking you personally..........
no about your comment........ from a business standpoint......... dont you think that the people who "need to know" is ANYONE who sent in money? Shouldnt it be in the best interest of all involved (especially those who do get on this show so their peers support them and the show) to be very vocal and open within the community about said show? i know i really havent said a whole lot in a long time but to me something about this show seems out of wack.......... it could be that the person running it just made a rookie mistake/poor judgement call in how he went about it or it could be a scam......... im leaning more towards a rookie mistake....... think about it....... what is the benefit of alienating 7/8's of the riders who applied for this show by just not contacting them directly and or indirectly........ why would you want other industry leaders left in the dark about something that could be so positive for the industry..... when u know its only going to cause them to be negative / spread negativity about this thing? in the end it comes down to a business decision that was made......... those decisions have reprocussions ........ and thats where the disgust comes from im guessing?

I'm just saying that from what I know he has been in contact with all the participants that are going to be involved in the show and they know what is going on. Everything that I have delt with Bishop on has came through (maybe somethings have been a little later than stated, but eventually came through). I personally think that he has about a billion different things going on and he's trying to spread himself too thin and that is why somethings (ie: replys to applicants, announcements, website updates, ect.) get pushed back and don't get taken care of until later on. Maybe a rookie mistake, taking too much on, not delegating enough.....whatever the reason being, I know how life goes. I've been there just like many others and I'm pretty understanding of those things and how they transpire. My personal dealings with him have gone through as planned and I don't see him trying to screw or scam anyone. IMO, he is a stand up guy and has nothing but good intentions for the sport and wants nothing more than to see it succeed into the mainstream.
Re: Scam Letter in SSB Magazine
thank you sir
No offense taken at all.......makes complete sense and to be in high business standing Bishop should go back through his records and send a letter or a message to everyone who applied and did not make the cut. I guess if you apply for a job or college they get back to you and tell you whether you're in or not (sometimes...usually way too late, lol).
