Got a deal in the making for a 05 600RR front end for my F4i and want to know what peoples opinions are on em. How similar is it to the 929 if at all. Thanks

 

i put the 1000rr front on my f4i and it made the bike feel alot better, the 1000rr brakes were amazing. should get the same results from the 600rr front

 

i heard putting the 600rr front end on your bike is like sending manbearpig and invitation???

I SEE PEOPLE WITH 1000RR FRONT ENDS ALL THE TIME SO WHY WOULD THE 600RR FRONT END BE A MANBEARPIG MOVE I SAY GO FOR IT I HAVE A 954 FRONT END BUT WANT TO MOVE TO THE 1000RR THE NEW 07 600RR FRONT ENDS ARE NICE MACHINED BLACK I WOULD LOVE TO GET A SET

+1 isn't the 03 to 05 600RR front a conventional non inverted front end? just the same I think. if you're wanting a better front end get either a 929/954 1000RR or 06 and newer 600RR. I still rock my stocker and bang big *** stoppies no problem

 

05/06 600rr = inverted.

i just think its a waste cause people dont understand that slapping on a inverted front end on there clapped out bike is a waste, specialy if they let the bike hit a wall (Which if your running a high idle) your bike will/can stand up after u toss it in the event of a crash and the bike makes contact with a wall, your frame will get toasted. F4i Front ends are forgiving

man bear pig makes you flip stoppies, manbearpig causes rev limiter coaster clutch cable snaps etc..

mmmmmk. So picked up the 600RR front end tonight for $275 see how it works out. With the little amount of money i had to spend on it i should be able to buy manbearpig some jack links jerkey so him and sasquach can kick it together:YEAH Thanks for everyones imput.

me too, and i am REALLY into stoppies. the thing is, you dont want the forksto be shorter!!

 

Got the swap done and it was deffinately worth it. Brakes are way better and front end feels alot more stable now. Thanks for imput and now ill just have to watch out for........manbearpig.

 

+1 on keeping stock forks with springs and revalve or just a change of fluid.

 

arent the f4i front brakes the same as the 929/954 just the master is different? id save the money and spent 30 bucks for a master
