I mean alot of riders are dippin out. i have seen alot of riders just all of a sudden quit. i under stand that if you do it for to long it gets boring and it may seem like it will get no were. i can agree. whats the point of being the usa best stunt rider if there is nothing to back it up but us in our own little group. there are some people out there trying to make a difference in making us noticed. i still beleave this sport can potentuly become main stream. but heres how i see it going down. you have two types of stunters out there. one who plainly dont give a **** and just do it to ride. others that strive to get very good and become the best. those are the ones that will make it when and if it becomes main stream. i also under stand this sport started on the streets and will always be there. but look at the news look at alot of web pages. guys out there killing motheres and ther children doing a wheelie and slaming into there car. would you ever sponcer a sport that did that kind of ****. mx guys are not jumping over play grounds full of kid,nascars are not on the road doing 200mph down the free way slaming in to cars, and **** even horse races stay in the proper place. take a look around at all the main stream sports. notice they are in controlled inviornments. thats why they are backed buy the big guys with $$$$. in order for this sport to go any were we need to think about what we are doing to stop it from going were it needs to go. if all of us dont do it none will plain and simple. 1 guy kills a mother and her child its over for the rest. all the videos of street action is cool i used to do it alot. i still will but i will pick and chose my places like back roads were no one is in site and the only one geting hert is me. just think about it guy. if there are more i dont give a **** people than i want to see it become main stream people then this sport is doomed. just think about it

 

look at drifting, bmx, skateboarding, etc & other "sports" that came from the streets. It'll grow. Give it time

watch the drift alliance video's. Though's guys started in PA in little town. They've been drifting in streets for YEARS. And now they are just getting big.

Your always gonna be judged on the things other people do. No matter what sport your in.

 

i guess the next question is... would you rather stunt street or in X-GAMES.... hmmmm i like streets a hella lot, but it would be dope to be under that red "X"

 

i dont think any one is an *** hole for doing what they like to do. i just think alot of people are making bad choices along the way

ya i dunno. At the same time i hope when or if stuntriding blows up to be like freestyle motox or something that the streetriding stays strong to. As much as i want people to be safe i would LOVE to see every ******* wheelie hatin cops face seein us all doin that **** on TV and gettin paid mega $$ for doin it.

 

its a situation similar to skateboarding, even though we try to get into a safe enviroment and practice we still get treated like felons. it kills me when we try to find a place to practice legally, and every time we get the same answer, insurance, liability blah blah blah. but not so long ago skatrs were treated the exact same way, now skateparks are everywhere in almost every little po dunk town and even better the towns are puttin them up, hopefully more people will come around and interest will grow and we can move up. imagine your local town setting up a big *** prkin lot just for stunters, what a beautiful thing...

 

the streets will never be 100% stunt free. Everyday a newbee buys a bike and the next day they start trying sh*t.

I don't like stunting the streets but i have and i will. I have learned most of my sh*t on the streets and then gotten it better in the lots.

 

ya i think rate now it's hard for people to except us in a "responsible society".


I think it has alot to do with people running to the dealership with mommy and daddy's credit card and buying a $10,000 "stuntbike". Hoping on it and crashing and dying. <--- KNOCK THAT **** OFF!!!!!!

 

Ahh the good old days when I would get kicked out of everywhere I went. Then you would go back and see a new sign posting no bikes/ no skatebords/no roller blades. I kinda miss the 80's

 

Actually with the horse racing, I'm from Amish country and you'd be suprised at the number of late night illeagle horse racing that goes on!

Sorry, but I just sold my lot bike to another street-able sport bike. Thats where I came from and thats where I'll be. I just use good judgement while doin it. Thats all it takes.

i dont think its the stunters. i think its the wanna be squids that see a vid for the first time, go get a bike and do power wheelies in traffic.
