Getting into competitions
Getting into competitions
im an up coming stunter an i was wondwering how do you get into competition like stunt wars an XDL. im not that good yet but hopefully by the end of the year i can at least compete. i just want to try it to see if im good enough or just get shown up
Re: Getting into competitions
And pay
Re: Getting into competitions
yes, most stunt comps are show up, pay, and compete...
there are a few that are invite or qualify only... but those are few and far between...
Stuntwars you can just show up and rtry to qualify...
XDL you have to talk to Thomas (Thomas DSOG on here) before you can try to qualify...
but for the most part, like starboyz stuntfest and almost every other comp it's show up and pay to compete...

Re: Getting into competitions
yeah i don't care if i lose or anything i just want to know what i have to go up aginst to try an win one. that way i can come up with some new trick none has done. i don't know to many people that stunt an are good so i don't really know what everyone can do. i just want to be different from the competition

Re: Getting into competitions
What can you do now?
And the one nice thing about you is your only 23. Theres guys doing this over 30 so at learst your learning kinda young. If it takes you 5 years to get there your still younger than alot of people. Thats the way I look at it at least.

Re: Getting into competitions
christ, flamingo. spreader. skitch, tank stand, endo for about 30 feet. stand up an sit down wheelies. the thing that suck is i can't do any of them tricks at 12 so they look sloppy. im still learning idle
Re: Getting into competitions
go to your first comp, ride your *** off, get your *** handed to you, and then you'll have a helluva learning curve before the next one cause then you will know what to do and what to expect.
happened to me last year, still had hella fun but now I know how it all goes and what to expect.

It takes a long time to be ready for a comp.
Re: Getting into competitions
yo johnny comp in tucson this friday. you actually have a good chance in it cuz there is no riding criteria...its just who impresses the judges and crowd the most. its at 7 pm. you can head down with us. its just pay and compete. hit me up
Re: Getting into competitions
yeah its all about the judges, we had a little comp down here. Doing average stunts, ss circles, no handers, 200ft stoppies, and few other things. Then this kid on a ninja 250 busts out a first gear rev limiter seat stander(not coaster). Takes first and wins $500. **** is crazy.
Re: Getting into competitions
i dont get it.
Re: Getting into competitions
yo number two. i took my who bike apart to paint my frame an swing arm. my roomate looped my bike an broke my clip on an brake side rear set. i can probably get it back together by friday but i still need a right clip on an rearset. thats why you guys aint sen me latlely
